Description:
The Resolution applies to foods packaged in the absence of consumers including beverages, food additives, technology adjuvants, foods intended exclusively for industrial processing or food services. It provides the mandatory nutritional information that has to be displayed on the back-of-pack labeling and front-of-pack nutritional labeling.
- It provides that front-of-pack nutritional labeling is mandatory on the labels of packaged foods in the absence of the consumer whose amounts of added sugars, saturated fats or sodium are equal to or greater than the limits defined in Annex XV of Normative Instruction No. 75 of 2020.
